COACHING GRANT FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE...![]()

A number of clubs have advised us that they are keen to either attract new coaches or to develop the skills of existing coaches.![]()

Our Coaching Grants are intended to help volunteer coaches achieve recognised coaching qualifications and will cover up to 50% of the cost of a course (to a maximum £150).![]()

Coaches are essential for the success of our local clubs and their members.![]()

A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Magnus Riddell, who has been selected for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland U18 athletics team to compete in the European Championships in Rieti, Italy!!![]()

The championships start on 16th July 2026. Magnus, who is coached by Peter Venus at Tynedale Harriers, will compete in the 800m - We wish him every success at the event!👍

Sport Tynedale are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former Chairman, David Thompson. ![]()
David epitomised the aims of our organisation with his endless energy and enthusiasm to support our local sportspeople of all ages. He did this not only with his wise guidance but also in the manner in which he delivered. We are the better for David’s contribution.
Our congratulations to Tynedale RFC for an excellent performance throughout this year, and for a season finale on Saturday which drew fantastic and extremely worthy support!![]()
